Prahana Health is a naturopathy and lifestyle-medicine clinic in Patel Colony, Jamnagar, Gujarat, India, led by Dr. Deepshikha Gaur (BNYS). Since 2017 we have supported patients across India and internationally (Canada, the UK, and Dubai) in addressing the root causes of chronic conditions — using personalised diet therapy (“food as medicine”), herbal protocols, Kerala Marma therapy, and evidence-based lifestyle changes. We work alongside conventional medical care, never as a replacement for it. Below are answers to the questions our patients ask most.

What conditions does Prahana Health treat with naturopathy?

Prahana Health focuses on chronic, lifestyle-related conditions, including Type 2 diabetes, thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism), PCOS/PCOD, hypertension, obesity and weight management, fatty liver, arthritis, migraine, chronic acidity, and anxiety or sleep issues. The approach targets the underlying causes rather than only managing symptoms.

Does Prahana Health offer online naturopathy consultations?

Yes. Alongside in-clinic visits in Jamnagar, Dr. Deepshikha Gaur offers online consultations for patients across India and abroad, including Canada, the UK, Dubai, and Scotland. Consultations, diet plans, and follow-ups are delivered remotely so patients can begin regardless of location.

Can naturopathy help manage or reverse Type 2 diabetes naturally?

Many patients see meaningful improvements in blood-sugar markers through structured diet therapy, targeted lifestyle changes, and herbal support under proper guidance. Results vary from person to person, and any changes to medication should always be made with your treating doctor. Prahana Health does not promise guaranteed cures or use crash diets.

What is the naturopathic approach to thyroid disorders?

Thyroid care at Prahana Health looks at contributing factors such as diet, gut health, stress, sleep, and nutrient status. A personalised plan combines food-as-medicine nutrition, lifestyle correction, and herbal protocols to support thyroid function, complementing — not replacing — any prescribed thyroid medication.

Can PCOS or PCOD be managed naturally?

PCOS/PCOD is closely linked to insulin resistance, diet, and lifestyle, which makes it well-suited to naturopathic support. Prahana Health uses personalised nutrition, weight management, and lifestyle-medicine strategies to help regulate cycles and improve related symptoms, tailored to each patient.

Who is Dr. Deepshikha Gaur?

Dr. Deepshikha Gaur holds a Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) and has more than a decade of clinical practice. She is the author of Arogya Buddhi and has been featured in the media for her work in root-cause naturopathy and lifestyle medicine. She founded Prahana Health in Jamnagar in 2017.

Is naturopathy safe to combine with my current medication?

Prahana Health’s protocols are designed to work alongside conventional treatment. Patients are advised to continue prescribed medication and to coordinate any dosage changes with their treating physician. The goal is to support the body’s recovery, not to interrupt necessary medical care.

What happens in a first consultation?

The first consultation involves a detailed review of your health history, current symptoms, reports, diet, and lifestyle. Based on this, Dr. Gaur creates a personalised, root-cause plan covering nutrition, lifestyle, and any supportive therapies, along with a schedule for follow-up and monitoring.

Where is the Prahana Health clinic located?

The clinic is at Gayatri Apartment, Ground Floor, House No. 1, Patel Colony, Street 5, Jamnagar, Gujarat 361008, India. In-clinic hours are Monday to Saturday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Online consultations are available by appointment.

How do I book a consultation with Prahana Health?
