The weight nobody talks about
The monthly hope and the monthly grief. The questions from relatives that land like stones. Test after test that says “everything is normal” while nothing changes — or a diagnosis that suddenly makes the path feel medical and cold. And underneath it all, two people quietly carrying stress that itself works against the very thing they’re hoping for. If this is where you are: you are not alone, and there is real work the body can do.
What quietly affects fertility — in both partners
The threads we most often find: cycle irregularity and PCOD/PCOS patterns; thyroid imbalance; weight at either extreme; chronic stress hormones, which directly suppress reproductive hormones in women and men; short, broken sleep; nutrition gaps in the very building blocks eggs and sperm are made from; and lifestyle load — smoking, alcohol, late nights, sedentary days. Egg and sperm quality both reflect roughly the last 90 days of how the body has lived. That window is the opportunity.

The next 90 days of nourishment shape the body’s readiness — for both of you.
The natural approach at Prahana Health
Dr. Deepshikha Gaur, BNYS, prepares the body’s side of the journey — for both partners where possible: cycle-rhythm and hormonal-pattern work (including PCOD and thyroid where present); fertility-supportive nutrition built from your own kitchen; stress-hormone calming through breath, yoga and Marma therapy; sleep repair; and gentle detox of lifestyle load. Everything runs alongside your gynaecologist or fertility specialist — including as preparation before and during IUI/IVF cycles, in coordination with your treating team.
Fertility challenges often overlap with PCOD/PCOS, thyroid imbalance, weight patterns and stress and anxiety. A root-cause plan addresses them together.
What patients report
Couples who follow their plans consistently commonly report more regular cycles, steadier energy and mood, and a body that feels ready — always alongside their gynaecologist or fertility specialist, never instead.
“She helped me and my husband for strengthening and detoxing our body and then planning for the conception… I delivered a healthy baby… Thank you so much for even strengthening my body post pregnancy with the Marma treatment and diet plan.”
Shivani Patel · verified Google review
“When I first came in, I was struggling with high blood sugar levels, high amh levels, pcos and extremely high cortisol… my AMH count has improved, and my PCOS symptoms have reduced significantly.”

Does the first hour of your morning really matter for fertility?
Many women tell me their day begins with the phone: the tracking app, the date circled, the quiet arithmetic of another month. It is an exhausting way to wake up, and I understand why it happens. But I often ask them to change only the first hour, because that hour quietly sets the tone for the hormones that run the rest of the cycle. Light on the skin before the Jamnagar sun turns harsh, a few unhurried minutes on the terrace, water before tea — small, unglamorous things.
The reasoning is ordinary physiology. Morning daylight is the strongest signal your body clock has, and that clock sits upstream of the hormone rhythms involved in ovulation and sleep. Cortisol naturally rises soon after waking; a breakfast built on protein and fibre — moong dal chilla, thepla with curd, a handful of soaked almonds — steadies blood sugar through that rise instead of sending it on a spike-and-crash, and steadier blood sugar supports more regular cycles. None of this replaces your fertility treatment. It simply gives the body a calmer place to start from, and most people feel that difference before any report shows it.

Your questions, answered
Does this replace IVF or fertility treatment?
No — and it doesn’t try to. Many couples use this work to prepare the body before or alongside IUI/IVF, in coordination with their fertility team. The medical path and the body-preparation path work best together.
Is this only for the wife?
No — male factors contribute in a large share of cases, and sperm health responds well to the same 90-day nutrition, sleep and lifestyle window. The strongest plans involve both partners.
Can you guarantee we’ll conceive?
No — and honestly, no one can; be cautious of anyone who promises. What we can do is bring both bodies to their healthiest possible state and remove the obstacles within our reach, while your medical team handles the rest.
How long does the preparation take?
Egg and sperm development runs on a roughly 90-day biological cycle, so plans are built in three-month arcs — with cycle, energy and sleep improvements usually visible along the way. Results vary from person to person.
